About the Opportunity
Cowra Council is seeking a highly motivated and suitable applicant to fill a Roads Attendant position within our Infrastructure & Operations Department, this position undertakes labouring duties associated with roads infrastructure maintenance and construction as part of Council's Works Program.
Duties include, but not limited to, Traffic Control, minor maintenance, manual handling and general labouring. The incumbent will assist in the set-up of form work, kerb and guttering, site preparation and Roadworks as well as the operation of small plant and equipment associated with the role.
The successful applicants must be physically fit and understand the importance of WHS and EEO. A ‘can do’ work ethic and ability to work positively within a team are essential.
Holding current Traffic Control ticket(s) would be an advantage to applicants.
