About the Position

Cowra Council is seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified applicant to fill the position of Team Leader - Roads Maintenance within the Roads division of Council.

The position of Team Leader - Roads Maintenance is primarily responsible for the supervision of Council's Roads Maintenance staff and performing maintenance works to contribute to the delivery of the Roads Works Program and allocated projects within time and budget constraints.  This position will carry out, organise and supervise  concrete works for footpaths, headwalls, pits, causeways and other associated roads and stormwater assets, along with various maintenance activities within the Roads network.  

A HR licence is required for this position with the successful applicant having relevant experience in civil construction or maintenance, be physically fit and understand the importance of WHS and EEO. A ‘can do’ work ethic and ability to work positively within a team are essential.
